Why This Site Exists
Printed directories of Seminole County residents faded from regular publication, while the records behind them remained with different custodians. The Seminole County Property Appraiser and Clerk document parcels and recorded instruments. The Supervisor of Elections controls access to voter information under Florida law. The Seminole County Library, Museum of Seminole County History, UCF, and RICHES preserve historical sources. We organize the known search tools, office contacts, coverage details, and access limits into one Seminole County reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Separate search angles: the street directory for address records, the directory book for historical collections, and the resident lookup for one-person research
- Custodians and rolls: the Property Appraiser, Clerk, Supervisor of Elections, courts, vital-records offices, library, and museum
- Practical methods: tracing a street, decoding an old directory entry, and following a household across dated sources
- Florida access rules: what is public, what is protected, and how Chapter 119 requests work when no portal supplies the record
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site. It has no connection to Seminole County government, any Florida agency, court, records custodian, or library. These limits always apply:
- We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Seminole County
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot guarantee that every coverage year, link, fee, or office detail remains current
Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
